HARD TO RECODNIZE FAMILIAR FACES?

Men’s Health reports new research from the U.K. finds that after you spend time in a place surrounded by many strangers, like an airport, it's more difficult to recognize familiar faces. Researchers explain by saying, "The brain tries to predict as best as it can what's going to happen next." As a result your brain simplifies recognizing faces by guessing how familiar the next person will be. The study also found you're more likely to think you know someone you haven't seen before if you're surrounded by friends.
