Pickens County deputies are charging an Upstate high school student in connection with statements they said she made during class.
Chief Deputy Creed Hash said a Daniel High School student was charged with disturbing schools and breach of peace following their investigation into the report that she made a threat in front of classmates and a teacher.
According to the school's disciplinary notice the female student was overheard by her teacher and several classmates making comments about killing people, C-4 and blowing up the school.
